Decide how you need to switch devices
If you regularly move between a phone and a computer, check whether the earbuds document two active source connections. Remembering several paired devices is a different feature from maintaining two connections at once.
A two-device mode can have limitations around playback, calls, codecs or LE Audio. A model’s longest battery claim is not automatically a tested duration for that mode.

When two simultaneous connections are essential
Use the two-device option for documented simultaneous Bluetooth connections, not concurrent mixed audio from both devices.

Earlier Sony multipoint depends on the documented codec plan
The earlier two-device plus LDAC query has no assessed match; Buds2 does not bridge that gap because it documents neither LDAC nor simultaneous device connections.
