Your needs, this model
Does it fit your priorities?
Will ACCENTUM True Wireless provide a sealed fit and active cancellation?
Sennheiser lists ear-canal coupling and hybrid ANC. The manual supplies four silicone tip sizes and a fit-test function in the Smart Control app; a correct seal can affect sound, noise cancellation and security, but personal fit is not established by this source review.
Explore this need in the finder →What minimum ANC runtime does the documentation support?
The current specification lists up to six hours of ANC-on music from the earbuds with an iPhone at mid volume/85 dB, without naming a codec. The manual's eight-hour AAC claim is explicitly ANC off. This assessment therefore uses a separate, codec-unspecified six-hour plan; it does not claim six ANC hours for SBC, AAC, aptX, LC3 or multipoint.
Explore this need in the finder →Which Bluetooth arrangements can it use?
Sennheiser lists SBC, AAC, aptX and LC3. The manual describes Classic Audio with source-selected aptX/AAC or SBC fallback, and possible LE Audio depending on the host. It also says the buds try to connect to the last two devices and can maintain two active connections, but audio plays from one device at a time. The available sources do not establish every codec together with two-device use or an ANC-on runtime.
Explore this need in the finder →Does its IP54 rating meet the finder's exact IPX4 option?
No. The product is documented as IP54 for the earbuds only, and Sennheiser says the case is not splash-proof. IP54 is a different rating from the finder's IPX4-earbuds-only choice; the case's protection must not be inferred. Keep wet earbuds and the case dry before charging, and do not use them in a shower or submerged.
Explore this need in the finder →Which charging methods are supported by the case?
Sennheiser specifies both USB-C and Qi wireless charging for the ATW1 C case. This is why the configuration matches the wireless-required case option but does not match the option that means USB-C with no wireless charging.
Explore this need in the finder →This research-based assessment covers the U.S. Black Sennheiser ACCENTUM True Wireless, article number 700262. The manufacturer's current support specification, U.S. product page and model-specific instruction manual establish its features and operating limits. No listening, fit, call, battery or noise-cancellation test was performed here.
A sealed tip and active cancellation are the central distinction
ACCENTUM True Wireless is a sealed in-ear design with hybrid active noise cancellation, unlike the open-fit ACCENTUM Open. The manual supplies four silicone tip sizes, XS through L, and explains that the fit affects sound, bass, ANC, call quality and how securely the buds sit. Sennheiser's Smart Control app includes a fit test, but that is a setup aid rather than a guarantee for every ear. Check each side separately and use the seller's return terms if you need to evaluate personal comfort; a source description cannot establish that the body shape will suit you.
The manual describes selectable ANC modes, including an anti-wind setting, and a transparency mode that can let surrounding audio through without removing the earbuds. That does not make this model open-ear or hearing protection. Its sealed geometry may help provide passive isolation when the tips fit, while the digital mode is a separate feature. Neither a label nor an in-app setting predicts how much sound will be reduced in your commute.
Bluetooth formats depend on the host
Sennheiser lists SBC, AAC and aptX for Bluetooth Classic Audio, plus LC3 for LE Audio. Its manual says the earbuds use aptX or AAC when the source supports one and otherwise fall back to SBC; LE Audio playback depends on the source device. A codec in the specification is therefore a compatibility possibility, not a promise that a phone will negotiate it by default. The Smart Control app can show which audio coding is in use and is needed for the product's configurable settings, including EQ and adjustable ANC.
The manual also says the earbuds try to connect to the last two Bluetooth devices used, can save up to six pairing profiles and play audio from one device at a time. This supports a two-connection workflow, such as keeping a phone and computer paired and switching the active source; it does not mean both devices can send separate audio streams to the buds simultaneously. The sources do not establish a particular codec or ANC runtime during the two-device arrangement, so this assessment keeps those plans separate. Auracast broadcast support is advertised with a firmware-update condition; using it also depends on a compatible broadcast source.
Read runtime by mode, not by headline
The current support specification lists up to six hours of music playback from the earbuds with ANC on and up to eight hours with ANC off, under an iPhone, mid-volume/85 dB test condition. It does not name the codec for those current figures. The manual's own up-to-eight-hour figure is for AAC at 50% volume with ANC off, and the manual's total of up to 28 hours with the case uses those ANC-off conditions. Sennheiser's headline up-to-28-hour total is a case-inclusive claim, not one continuous earbud session. We use only the support sheet's six-hour ANC claim for a broad per-charge ANC threshold, not as a codec-specific or multipoint result. Treat all published maxima as manufacturer ceilings that may change with volume, host, mode and use—not observed performance.
Charging and IP54 have different component limits
The ATW1 C case supports USB-C cable charging and Qi wireless charging, giving it flexibility beyond a wired-only case. Sennheiser says Qi charging and temperatures outside its stated range can extend charge time. A wireless charging pad is not listed among the box contents, so an owner who needs pad charging should check what equipment they already have. The manual's package list includes the right and left earbuds, case, approximately 0.4 m USB-C-to-USB-A cable, XS/S/M/L silicone tips (M pre-mounted), quick guide and safety guide.
Sennheiser rates the earbuds IP54, not the charging case. Its water guidance says the buds are splash-resistant but not for submersion, showering or rinsing; dry them before charging. The case is not splash-proof and should be kept dry. IP54 is not the same full code as IPX4, but its water digit is four; this site's finder treats an IP54 earbuds-only mark as meeting the IPX4-level splash option while keeping the added dust digit and the unrated case distinct.
Black, White and Blue share a feature family
The U.S. manufacturer specification identifies Black 700262, White 700263 and Blue 700264. It lists the same family specifications for all three; no finish-dependent operating difference was found. The images below show the exact color and case appearance only. They do not prove box contents or condition for a seller's particular offer.

Who should compare it?
Compare the Black configuration if you want sealed tips, active ANC, several documented Bluetooth codec routes and a case that can charge by either USB-C or Qi. It is a poor match for someone who requires open-ear wear, a case protected from water, or a verified codec-specific ANC runtime. Before buying, match the exact 700262/700263/700264 finish and case, check the seller's complete-package and return terms, and confirm that the phone or computer supports the connection mode you actually intend to use. Fit, real-world quiet, call quality and remaining battery condition cannot be inferred from the manuals or product images.
