Your needs, this model
Does it fit your priorities?
Is the CX 350BT a sealed in-ear style?
Yes. The exact SEBT1 manual describes ear-canal coupling and four XS/S/M/L adapters that should seal the canal. That documents the construction but cannot predict your personal seal, comfort or retention.
Explore this need in the finder →Can it stay connected to two devices at once?
Sennheiser's matching CX 350BT product page says two devices connect simultaneously; the manual separately distinguishes recent reconnection from up to eight remembered pairings. Two live connections do not mean two audio streams, and source evidence does not join multipoint to a particular codec/runtime plan.
Explore this need in the finder →Which codecs and playback claim are documented?
The exact-model manual lists SBC, AAC, aptX and aptX Low Latency. Its ten-hour maximum is specifically music playback via SBC; it does not state a corresponding AAC or aptX runtime and this review did not test battery life.
Explore this need in the finder →Does the CX 350BT have ANC, a case, or a water rating?
No ANC mode or IP water rating is documented in the checked U.S. product page or exact-model manual, and its listed package is neckband earphones, cable, tips and guides rather than a charging case. The manual says to keep it dry; an unstated IP rating remains unknown.
Explore this need in the finder →This assessment covers the U.S. Black CX 350BT, article 508382, and the separately identified White finish, 508383. Sennheiser's U.S. page marks the model end-of-life. The findings below come from the U.S. listing, the exact-model manual and Sennheiser's product description; there was no listening, fit, call, battery or water testing.
A cable-linked fit for people who do not want true wireless
The CX 350BT uses two sealed, ear-canal tips on a Bluetooth neckband cable. It is a wireless audio accessory, but it is not a pair of independent true-wireless buds: the connecting cable and inline control housing remain part of the wearing setup. The model manual lists XS, S, M and L silicone adapters and says they should fit snugly enough to seal the canal. That makes it a sealed in-ear style, not a promise that its fit will suit every ear.
No active noise-cancellation mode or water-resistance code appears in the checked U.S. product page or model manual. The manual instead says to keep the product dry. A sealed tip can reduce some outside sound passively when it fits, but that is not ANC. If you need certified splash resistance, shower protection or ANC, the evidence for this model does not establish those capabilities. It also has no charging case: the headset itself is charged through the USB-C socket on its cable module.
Where the 350BT earns its place over the 150BT
The manual lists SBC, AAC, aptX and aptX Low Latency, while the CX 150BT is limited to SBC and AAC in its manual. aptX Low Latency is the distinctive addition for compatible sources when video delay matters; both the source device and its software must support the route, so its presence does not promise perfectly synchronized playback on every phone, television or computer. The 350BT also has a dedicated voice-assistant button in its manual's product overview. Sennheiser's U.S. page describes the 150BT as having a three-button remote; the 350BT's separate control is a practical difference if direct assistant access matters.
Both models list Bluetooth 5.0 and an up-to ten-hour music claim, but the model manual specifies that ceiling via SBC. The CX 350BT takes about 2.5 hours for a full charge by its manual's estimate, compared with about 1.5 hours for the 150BT. The 350BT manual lists 240 hours standby; that figure is not listening time. These manufacturer specifications are not battery tests, and neither model's current listing tells us how much capacity remains in an older example.
Two device connections, one selected source
Sennheiser's product description for the CX 350BT says multi-pairing can keep two devices connected simultaneously. Its manual separately says startup tries the last two connected Bluetooth devices, while up to eight device profiles can be remembered. These are different capacities: two current connections and eight stored pairings. The statement does not mean that two music streams play at once; the user still selects which connected source supplies audio.
The matcher therefore records the multipoint arrangement separately from SBC, AAC, aptX and aptX Low Latency plans. Sources reviewed here do not attach a codec-specific runtime or an audio-latency claim to the two-connection arrangement. Shoppers who need a named codec can inspect the single-device operating plan, and shoppers who need two simultaneous connections can inspect the separate multipoint plan. This conservative separation avoids promising an interaction that the manual does not quantify.
Battery and app details without a case total
The manual lists a built-in 100 mAh rechargeable battery, up to ten hours of SBC music playback, approximately 2.5 hours to charge, and USB-C charging. It does not publish a case-assisted listening total because there is no charging case. Sennheiser's product overview also describes voice-assistant support and app-based sound personalization. The manual says Smart Control is needed for the full set of settings and functions, including equalizer adjustments; it is not needed simply to pair Bluetooth audio and make calls.
The included package in the model manual is the headset, USB-C-to-USB-A cable, four ear-adapter sizes and printed quick and safety guides. The power source is not included in the listed package. A product image cannot establish that a used unit still includes those pieces, so check the offer itself. The manual's care section says to keep liquids away and clean only with a soft, dry cloth; with no IP rating found, do not treat this as a sports or wet-weather model.
Earlier-model checks and exact color
The exact U.S. selector maps Black 508382 and White 508383 to separate finish variants under the CX 350BT family. The checked manual and product pages do not identify a feature difference by color, so White shares this functional review while its own appearance image is shown below. The images are manufacturer references, not pictures of a complete carton or proof of a listing's condition.

The CX 350BT is worth considering only when the cable-linked sealed-tip format, no ANC and unconfirmed water protection are acceptable and its extra codecs or dedicated assistant control matter. Sennheiser marks it end-of-life. For any older offer, verify article number and color, included cable and tips, remaining battery health, return rights and seller warranty. Those offer details were not checked as part of this model assessment.
