Your needs, this model
Does it fit your priorities?
Does the Graphite 700350 have the sealed fit and ANC I need?
Sennheiser describes the ear coupling as ear canal and lists Hybrid Adaptive ANC. Its manual supplies XS, S, M and L tips and an app fit test. That documents a sealed-tipped style, not personal comfort, seal or noise reduction in your own ears.
Explore this need in the finder →What ANC-on listening time does the documentation support?
The U.S. product specification lists up to six hours of music playback per earbud charge with ANC on. It does not name a codec or connect that figure to Multipoint. The 12-hour claim is ANC off, and 40 hours is an overall case-assisted total rather than one continuous ANC session.
Explore this need in the finder →Can I keep two Bluetooth devices connected?
The manual and support page say it can connect to two paired devices simultaneously, but playback is from only one device at a time. Multipoint is initially off and must be activated in Smart Control Plus. The sources do not assign the six-hour ANC-on claim to this two-device arrangement.
Explore this need in the finder →Does this model currently match an LE Audio LC3 requirement?
Not on the documentation reviewed for this assessment. Sennheiser says LC3/LE Audio functionality will be enabled through a later firmware update, so the current LC3 operating-plan list is empty. A future update or host capability is not treated as present compatibility.
Explore this need in the finder →Does its case support wireless charging, and is the case water resistant?
Sennheiser lists both Qi wireless and USB-C case charging, and the manual says a Qi pad is not included. The earbuds are IP54 rated but the charging case is not splash waterproof; dry the buds before docking and keep the case dry.
Explore this need in the finder →This review is a source-based assessment of the U.S. Sennheiser MOMENTUM True Wireless 5 in Graphite, article 700350. I have not handled, worn or tested this model. The current U.S. product listing identifies Graphite alongside Copper, Cream, Denim and Lavender; the primary listing, manual and support material describe one MTW5 family. This review keeps the finishes tied to their separate article numbers and images without treating appearance as a performance difference.
What the exact configuration includes
The instruction manual identifies the earbuds as MTW5 R and MTW5 L and the case as MTW5 C. Its package list includes the Qi-capable charging case, a roughly 0.4-meter USB-C-to-USB-C cable, four silicone tip sizes (XS, S, M and L, with M fitted), a battery-replacement tool, a quick guide, a safety guide, a compliance sheet and a battery information sheet. The reviewed Graphite configuration is not the separate MOMENTUM True Wireless 5 plus BTD 700 bundle that also appears in Sennheiser's U.S. catalog. Do not assume the adapter is in the standard 700350 box.
The manual and U.S. specification call this an ear-canal design. Four tip sizes and the Smart Control Plus fit test provide setup choices, but they cannot tell you whether the shell and tips will seal comfortably in your particular ears. Sennheiser notes that fit affects bass, cancellation, call clarity and secure placement. If fit is the deciding factor, check both ears with the supplied sizes and review the exact seller's return terms rather than treating the app check as a comfort guarantee.
ANC and battery figures need their mode labels
Sennheiser lists Hybrid Adaptive ANC and an adaptive wind-control mode. The U.S. specification gives up to six hours of music playback per earbud charge with ANC on and up to twelve hours with ANC off. Those are different arrangements. Its up-to-40-hour case-assisted figure is an overall playback total under the stated iPhone, mid-volume test condition; it is not forty continuous hours in one earbud session, and it should not be substituted for the ANC-on figure.
The six-hour ANC maximum is useful as a published boundary, not a promise for every listener or a measurement from this review. The product materials do not attach it to a named Bluetooth codec or to the two-device Multipoint arrangement, so this assessment treats it as a separate codec-unspecified ANC plan. A shopper requiring six hours over a specific codec, or while connected to two devices, should not infer that combined endurance from separate feature claims. Volume, source, settings, fit and the condition of the rechargeable cells will affect an individual listening day.
Sennheiser advertises replaceable batteries in both earbuds and the case. That is a service-life feature rather than evidence that replacement cells are included or immediately available to every U.S. owner; confirm parts and service arrangements locally before relying on replacement as a maintenance plan.
Bluetooth choices depend on the source
The manual lists Bluetooth 6.0 and the standard SBC and AAC routes as well as aptX and aptX Adaptive options, including the manufacturer's lossless and high-resolution modes. The source has to support the codec and operating mode, and the app's audio-priority selection also matters. An iPhone's AAC/SBC capability, for example, does not automatically become an aptX link because the earbuds list aptX. Sennheiser says LC3 and LE Audio functionality will arrive through a later firmware update; the current assessment therefore does not count the model as an LC3 match.
The manual says up to six Bluetooth device profiles can be saved and that playback is possible from one device at a time. Sennheiser's support page describes two simultaneous Multipoint connections, with switching between the linked devices rather than mixing two audio streams. Multipoint is turned off by default and must be enabled in Smart Control Plus. This is useful if a phone and laptop both need to remain connected, but neither the separate six-hour ANC figure nor any codec-specific runtime is documented for that two-device mode.
Charging and water protection are separate case questions
The MTW5 C case supports USB-C cable charging and Qi wireless charging. The manual explicitly describes a Qi-compatible dock as not included, so budget for or reuse a pad only if you need wireless charging. The cable is USB-C at both ends; check that the charging source has a compatible port or adapter. Sennheiser also describes a short USB-C fast-charge top-up, but temperature and power source affect charging time.
The earbuds carry an IP54 dust-and-splash rating; Sennheiser says the case is not splash waterproof. IP54 is not the same full code as IPX4, but its water digit is four, so this site's finder treats the earbuds-only IP54 rating as meeting the IPX4-level splash option; the additional dust digit remains a separate claim. The manual says not to immerse or shower with the earbuds, to dry them before putting them in the case, and to keep the case dry. A wireless charging method does not change that water boundary.
Who should compare it, and what to check
Compare Graphite 700350 if you want sealed in-ear ANC, a Qi-and-USB-C case, replaceable batteries and a documented two-device connection option. It is not the right fit for a requirement that LC3 is working now, a case that carries the same water rating as the earbuds, or a published six-hour ANC claim tied to SBC, AAC or Multipoint. Those are meaningful exclusions, not details to fill in by combining nearby specifications.
The current ACCENTUM True Wireless is another Sennheiser sealed ANC model, but its product-specific documentation and connection modes are not interchangeable with MTW5. The ACCENTUM documentation currently lists LC3 among its supported plans; MTW5's support page instead describes LC3/LE Audio as a future firmware feature. A shopper weighing the two should compare the exact current spec sheets, listening modes, battery claims and case package—not assume that common branding means the same codec support. For either product, the fit test is an aid rather than a guarantee, the water rating applies only to the components the manufacturer names, and the published maximum battery figures do not predict an individual used unit's capacity.
Before choosing an offer, match Graphite article 700350 and the MTW5 C case, check seller condition and warranty, verify the phone or computer's codecs, confirm whether a Qi pad is needed, and read the product's current firmware notes. The Copper, Cream, Denim and Lavender finishes have their own U.S. article numbers and exact colors; do not accept a different finish or the separate BTD 700 set without confirming that it is the package you intend to buy.
